Newly Created Position of Director of Engineering Project Management Office

John Barlow has been appointed to the position of Director of Engineering Project Management Office at the Houston Technology Center. This new position at Scientific Drilling (SDI) will help the organization meet our growth plan over the next few years by increasing the focus on product line and project management. It is paramount that the right engineering development projects are selected based on market opportunities, through thorough planning and budgeting and on-time execution, including the transition into Manufacturing and Operations. Barlow previously held the position of Director of Production Logging and brings a wealth of experience into this new role from previous Engineering management positions for both SDI and General Electric. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of London and has recently completed an MBA curriculum at Rice University in Houston Texas.
