Surface to Downhole Ranging

The SurfaceTraC System, from Scientific Drilling, is the first of its kind to utilize a surface magnetic field source (with a GPS surveyed position) to accurately position the wellbore without cumulative uncertainty, and avoid collisions in a congested environment.
