FALCON MP MWD

Falcon MP MWD is a full-featured mud pulse MWD system, providing a telemetry foundation upon which all other SDI MWD,gyroMWD, LWD, and rotary steerable components built.  Fully compensated and LCM tolerant pulsers deliver up to 5 BPS speeds in a variety of sizes to address your BHA configuration needs.

FALCON EM MWD

The EM MWD systems use bi-directional communications and offer the advantage of very high data rates that are approximately four times faster than conventional MP MWD. Tools can be run in collar sizes from 3.125″ to 9.5″ OD and are available in a retrievable configuration when required.

At Scientific Drilling, we are constantly innovating to keep up with the newest technological advances in the industry; that is why we developed an antenna that functions as a Down Hole Transceiver with the ability to detect EM signal transmission. This transceiver allows the signal to reach the surface without being affected by formation resistance above the target formation.

DEEP EM RECEIVER

Deployed via wireline, Scientific Drilling’s Deep EM Receiver detects and collects EM signal transmission in areas that are subject to electromagnetic resistance and have traditionally only been drilled with conventional MP telemetry.

 

TARGET APPLICATIONS

  • Dramatically increases depth for EM MWD services
  • Allows EM operation in areas that are prone to blocking or absorbing EM fields
  • High data rate sampling for improved log density
  • Reliably receives EM signal through resistive zones

FALCON FIRE MP MWD

Falcon Fire MP MWD delivers high-temperature capabilities up to 350°F (177°C).

The Falcon Fire MP MWD is Scientific Drilling‘s high-temperature Mud Pulse MWD system, ensuring safer operations, maximum reliability, precision wellbore placement, and deeper reach.

Built from the sensor level up to exceed performance expectations, the Falcon Fire MP System addresses any elevated temperature environment with the same reliability and proven performance of the Falcon MP System.
