A probe-based, API-calibrated detects naturally occurring gamma radiation from the formation.

NATURAL GAMMA RAY (SCI-GAMMA™)

The API Natural Gamma Ray solution is a probe-based, calibrated sensor. Which detects naturally occurring gamma radiation from the structure. Designed to be fully compatible with Scientific Drilling’s MWD systems and supports. In addition to the Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) configurations.

The Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA), the API solution, is placed just above the motor. These sensors enable a quicker reaction to formation changes.

DELIVERING THE ULTIMATE VALUE

/ Supports all BHA sizes
/ Works seamlessly in real-time with both MP and EM MWD
/ High-Temperature Option Available – Rated at 350°F (177°C)

NATURAL GAMMA RAY AND INCLINATION (SCI-GAIN™)

Furthermore, the Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) and API solution are placed just above the motor. These sensors enable a quicker reaction to formation changes. Therefore, the technology delivers measurements 20-25ft (6-8m) closer to the bit than standard MWD.

The Directional Driller can utilize these measurements during development by monitoring the mud motor output early. Rotating in the lateral, continuous inclination measurements can be used to monitor and maintain the wellbore trajectory.

PROVIDING THE ULTIMATE VALUE

/ Provides API gamma ray inclination measurements closer than standard MWD
/ All BHA sizes are supported
/ Runs effortlessly in real-time with both MP and EM MWD
